Looks like yet another sell-out for a Xiaomi product. According to Xiaomi, they have sold 100,000 of their latest product, Hongmi, in 90 seconds. Hongmi is a quad-core budget phone from Xiaomi that costs only around $130. Hongmi has the following specifications:

Last time Xiaomi had sold out 200,000 of its flagship Mi-2S smartphone in under a minute. Due to limited production of low price/high specs devices, Xiaomi has a history of getting massive pre-orders followed by instant sell outs. While Xiaomi only sells in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, it is slowly gaining worldwide recognition and fan following. According to the latest report by analyst firm Canalys, Xiaomi has overtaken Apple has the sixth largest smartphone vendor in China.
The next flagship from Xiaomi, the MI-3, is tipped to be released this September.
