Mobile World Congress — The device manufacturer Alcatel has announced its first 2-in-1 tablet running Windows 10, it’s called “Alcatel Plus 10”. It’s a 10.1-inch tablet that can also convert into a laptop with its detachable keyboard, which also serves as a wireless hotspot for up to 15 users.

The Alcatel Plus 10 features a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800) display, Intel Cherry Trail T3 Z8350 quad-core (1.92GHz) processor, 32GB of internal storage, microSD slot to expand storage with an additional 64GB. There is also a 5-megapixel back-facing and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and Bluetooth 4.0.

The tablet does not offer AC wireless connectivity, but it includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n that should be more than enough for most people. The Plus 10 includes a 5830 mAh battery and a 2580 mAh battery included inside the keyboard, which also serves as a Wi-Fi hotspot with 4G LTE connectivity for up to 15 users.

As for ports, the tablet from Alcatel features a standard USB, micro USB, and micro HDMI. The full-sized USB port on the keyboard dock allows you to easily connect peripherals, such as external storage, display, mouse, printer, and more.

Alcatel is offering the Plus 10 2-in-1 tablet in metallic silver, matte white, matte volcano black, and warm gray leather colors.

The Alcatel Plus 10 start shipping on June 2016, and it will be available in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa. Pricing is yet to be announced.
