EA and DICE have been working hard towards making Battlefield a more competitive based game and a serious contender for e-sports to no avail, recently they confirmed that the 5v5 mode which was promised earlier will not be delivered.
Battlefield series works great on its own but has struggled to be a part of a more competitive world with other games dominating the scene as they are much more suited for them.
Battlefield V Senior Producer Ryan McArthur apologized for canceling the 5v5 mode which would have players battle it out in a deathmatch scenario. Instead, the developers are working towards making Battlefield better without issues and bugs which have troubled the progress of the game.
Battlefield V is available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
